Always a pleasure to eat here! I haven't been in years, not since the new location...forgot how great the bbq crabs were, but needed a tutorial on how to eat them, lost my crab cracking skills

I was a big fan of their platter service way back when they were in Sabine Pass. I used to chuckle at the sign that said "Platter service can take up to three hours. If you are in a hurry there's a McDonald's in Port Arthur". My crew and I looked forward to this as payment for our hard work. I think the seafood was as good as you could get anywhere. A whole roll of paper towels and a family sized garbage can at each table. Serious chow down.

The one in mid-county is one of the few locally owned seafood places that still does fresh shrimp, delivered daily, fried in the southern tradition with cornmeal batter. It's always fresh, and their family pack is a great deal at under 30 for a TON of shrimp, fish and crab balls (yummy), but is to-go only. Their barbecue crabs are famous for a reason, and are just as good as they have been for years. Give it a try, lyou won't be disappointed

Not many restaurants stand the test of time, 20 years or even 10 but when they do, they've got something special; great recipes, quality food, atmosphere and good customer service. This little seafood shack serves up the beast bbq crab you'll ever feast on.
